Lamentations 3:24, 25 and 26

I trust this speaks to your heart as it did to mine today while studying.
Lamentations 3:
Vs 24 - The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
Vs 25 - The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
Vs 26 - It is good that a man should BOTH HOPE and QUIETLY WAIT for the salvation of the Lord.
Now for the comments: "While trouble is prolonged, and deliverance is deferred, we must patiently wait for God and His gracious returns to us. While we wait for Him by faith, we must seek Him by prayer: our souls must seek Him, else we do not seek so as to find. Our seeking will help to keep up our waiting. And to those who thus wait and seek God will be gracious; He will show them His marvelous loving kindness."

Don't know about you, but His word truly feeds my soul and I'm so thankful He hears my hearts cry and answers my prayers.

Hearing

We moved from Petersburg, VA to Killeen, TX in 1983. We had not yet sold our home back in VA and were renting in Killeen - so two house payments, plus a son in college and two sons in Christian school, and I had not yet gone to work. I prayed and prayed that we would hear our home had sold, but nothing. One morning while praying, it was so clear to me - not an audible voice, but definitely words that I knew came from God, telling me that He heard me, He was NOT deaf, did not even have a tad of a hearing problem and starting that day I was supposed to praise Him for the selling of our home. It hit me right in the heart and I immediately started praising the Lord because I knew I had heard from the Lord. Later that day our realtor called to tell us that he was taking someone to look at our house and I KNEW without a doubt those people were going to buy our home in VA. You know the answer - they bought. Just remember God does hear, has perfect hearing and we only have to ask, trust and believe. Too simple??? Psalm 6, verse 9 - The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer.

Thinking and thinking! Anything to keep from starting the packing "up" for the trip which means leaving in the morning (Fri). Since I'm such an old coot and more MATURE coot, let me tell you chillins something I've learned in my many years of living. Ever have a period in your life so dark, so ugly black, so horrible you can't think straight? You wonder "Where are you God?" When it's darker than pitch, simply PRAISE THE LORD! That is the key to real victory. Believe me when I tell you I have had BLACK times in my life; but praising my Lord has been the answer. At times I would praise the Lord ALL the day long! Philippians 4:8 - 9 "Whatsoever things are TRUE, whatsoever things are HONEST, whatsoever things are JUST, whatsoever things are PURE, whatsoever things are LOVELY, whatsoever things are of GOOD REPORT; if there be any VIRTUE, and if there by any PRAISE, THINK ON THESE THINGS! Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you." SIMPLY PRAISE THE LORD and peace will come! That's the key! Trust me on this one......
